To make chicken tandoori using Fiori Brava spices, you can follow the recipe below:
Ingredients:
- 1 kg chicken pieces (preferably bone-in, skinless)
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons Fiori Brava tandoori spice mix
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder (optional for added heat)
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons oil
- Lemon wedges and fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions:
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the yogurt, lemon juice, Fiori Brava tandoori spice mix, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder (if using), turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well to form a smooth marinade.
2. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade and coat them well with the mixture. Make sure the chicken is evenly coated. You can make shallow cuts on the chicken pieces to allow the marinade to penetrate better.
3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or transfer the chicken and marinade to a ziplock bag. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the flavors to develop and the chicken to tenderize.
4. Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat. If using a grill, lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking.
5. Remove the marinated chicken from the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature for about 15-20 minutes.
6. Brush the chicken pieces with oil to prevent them from drying out during cooking.
7. Grill the chicken on medium-high heat or bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for about 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through. Flip the chicken halfway through the cooking process to ensure even cooking.
8. Once the chicken is cooked and has a slightly charred appearance, remove it from the grill or oven.
9. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with lemon wedges on the side.
